It
is now 10:13pm and I'm frantically packing and such because I'm joining
Glenn on his poplicious tour tomorrow! Don't know if you've heard
yet or not, but Glenn has sprained his foot and ankle (all in the
name of ROCK) and needs an extra hand...or foot...on the road. I got
the call today and am rushing around my ickle apt. trying to sort
out what to take with me. Of course, if it's anything like the last
time I toured with Glenn (shooting the doc), it is somewhat pointless
planning outfits since I'll end up wearing the same comfy tshirt and
sweat pants day after day.
The
RV is also going through a few injuries at the moment and is out of
commission while some very nice repairmen are working their magic.
Glenn has to fly ahead to the next city (the shows must go on) while
I'm flying in to help Suzanne drive the newly repaired RV to Colorado
from Oregon! I'm told it is a mere 24 hour journey...don't think there
will be much time for travel Yahtzee but it will be an adventure.
I'm hoping my 'road tenure' will be more on the enjoyable side and
less on the stressful did-we-get-the-shot side
since I'm just helping out and not shooting!
I'll
try and send updates from the road when I can and thought it might
be a fun thing to post on the site. (I'll be honest, I'm basically
thinking that my family members will be more interested in what I
get up to, but I suppose glennmovie fans are my 'family' in that really
genuine showbizzy way, right?) I have no idea how long Suzanne and
Glenn will need my assistance but dammit, I'm ready to give til it
hurts. Off to Portland at the very evil break of dawn tomorrow...my
cab comes at 4:45am. Not very ROCK. Perhaps I should drink a bottle
of Jack Daniels and not go to bed and just yell at the taxi driver
when he helps me stumble into the cab!
Alternatively,
I could make a list of what I have to pack and must not forget my
hot water bottle.
Until next time.... 999 bottles of beer on the wall...
